Advertiser Staff

The much-anticipated south swell has arrived and is producing surf of 5 to 7

feet along south-facing shores today.

Elsewhere the surf is expected to be 3 to 5 feet along eastern shores, 2 to 4 feet along western shores and 1 to 2 feet along the northern coastline today, according to the National Weather Service forecast. The small to moderate south to southwest swells will continue through the weekend, with surf remaining below the 8-foot advisory level. Otherwise, no significant new swells are expected.
