LiLo to get yoga training for recovery in rehab

For a quick and better recovery, Lindsay Lohan might be given 'yoga' training in the rehab, it has emerged.

While the 'Mean Girls' star is serving her sentence behind bars, her handlers are trying to find the right rehab facility for her, which could mean an "alternative" approach that focuses on diet and exercise.

"In Lindsay's case, a 30-day program just isn't enough for her," the New York Post quoted Los Angeles-based chemical addiction specialist Marty Brenner, as saying.

"The judge knows that, and won't be letting her off a day early," added Brenner.

Lohan's camp has been looking into placing her at California's Malibu Beach Recovery Centre, which offers a somewhat different approach to recovery than the typical rehabilitation facility.

"It's based on holistic types of treatment - things like yoga, meditation and focus on a healthy, nutritious diet," said Brenner.

"It isn't a 12-step program, but it is a place that will probably be very good for Lindsay. Right now, any place that's going to help her detox and get off the prescription medications will be good for her," added Brenner.

According to Malibu Beach Recovery Center's website, Lohan's treatment will include a special diet "based on the finest traditions of French cuisine" that will prohibit all caffeine, white rice, white bread, sugar and potatoes. In addition, she will take a series of "bio-active supplements" to compliment the program's daily exercise regimen. (ANI)
